Important Information
Summer housing will be available from May 12th through August 4th for students and May 20th through August 4th for nonstudent renters. Buildings undergo yearly maintenance during the "downtime," which leaves little room for exceptions to these dates. There will be a $50 charge per day for those who fail to vacate the premises by their designated summer end date or by noon on August 4th.
Summer Housing Rates
Registered Student Rates
Regular room: $110 per week
Private Room Rate: $160 per week
Non-registered Student Rates
Regular room: $125 per week
Private Room Rate: $175 per week
Non-Student Interns Housing Rates
Shared Room Rate: $101 per person per week
Private Room Rate: $195 per week
(a $50 Environmental Fee will be added to both the shared and private room rates)
Public Rate
$85 per night and decreases to $65 per night if staying more than 5 nights
If you need to cancel your summer housing application, please do so in writing to the Campus Life and Housing Office (housing@lssu.edu).
While living on campus, summer renters are expected to behave according to the same policies and rules that apply during the academic year. Eviction may occur if rent is not paid or university, state, or federal policies are violated. The Campus Life and Housing Office reserve the right to consolidate units and move residents.
