The Marketing and Communications Office (MarComm) provides photography/videography that emphasizes academic pursuits and campus life. Visuals that represent the university brand and key messages get priority. MarComm also provides select coverage of university events. Campus constituents may use their cell phone cameras for social media posts. For large events and/or when high-quality visuals are required, we recommend hiring an external professional if MarComm is unable to cover. MarComm additionally provides archival photos by curating from its repository.
Requests for photography must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the anticipated use date. Late requests will be considered but are not guaranteed to run. However, no request will be accepted within three working days of anticipated publication date.(Exceptions: breaking news.)
Requests for videography must be submitted at least three weeks prior to the anticipated use date. Late requests will be considered but are not guaranteed to run, especially because editing of raw footage is often time-intensive. (Exceptions: breaking news.)
