Press Release Request Form
The Marketing and Communications Office (MarComm) can help promote your campus events, faculty accomplishments, student achievements, and school-college-department-unit news through press releases.
Requests for press releases must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the anticipated publication date. Late requests will be considered but are not guaranteed to run. However, no press release request will be accepted within three working days of anticipated publication date. (Exceptions: breaking news.)
MarComm manages, prioritizes, and creates press releases from information provided in the work order. MarComm determines where the press release is distributed, with input from constituents as necessary. MarComm has the right to edit for clarity, brevity, and propriety as well as has the discretion to approve, reject, or adjust requests for press releases.
Note: if you intend visuals to accompany the press release, you must complete a Photography and/or Videography Form.
